Arrest made in tire store armed robbery

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - Portsmouth Police have made one arrest and hope to make another in connection with an armed robbery at J&L Tire & Rims.
Samuel Demetrius Boone was arrested and charged with robbery for the November 11, 2011 crime.
Investigators say Boone and another suspect entered the business, located in the 3000 block of Victory Boulevard, and made employees get down on the floor. The suspects stole money and cell phones.
