SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Suffolk Police have charged a man in a reported kidnapping and rape that took place early Saturday morning.
According to Debbie George with the City of Suffolk, the victim reported to police she was grabbed by two suspects in the 400 block of Brook Avenue around 4 a.m. as she was leaving a party.
One of the suspects reportedly sexually assaulted the victim.
The victim told police she knew one of the suspects by a nickname, which wasn’t provided by police. Officers have since arrested William Dejon Jennings, 34, and charged him with abduction, kidnapping and rape.
