Man arrested for contact with teen

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - A 58-year-old Newport News man has been arrested for having sexual contact with a 15-year-old girl.
According to Harold Eley with the Newport News Police Department, Samuel Hicks had inappropriate contact with the Newport News teen and was charged Dec. 26 with aggravated sexual battery.
Eley said police received a complaint from Child Protective Services (CPS) last October that the victim alleged sexual contact with Hicks. Eley said the charge was for inappropriate fondling.
