NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Police in Norfolk are investigating two separate shootings that sent two people to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries Thursday night.
According to Karen Parker-Chesson with the Norfolk Police Department, the first shooting happened just before 7:30 p.m. in the area of Sewells Point Road and Hugo Street. A male victim was transported to the hospital.
The second shooting was reported in the 800 block of Freemont Street around 9:15 p.m., Parker-Chesson said. Another male victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police do not have any motive or suspect information on either shooting. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
