Police looking for three suspects

FRANKLIN, Va. (WAVY) - Franklin police need your help finding three suspects accused of two robberies that occurred in the Barretts Landing area of the city.

At around 9:45 p.m., Thursday, police say a 15-year-old male was robbed by three suspects while walking behind Birdsong Peanut Company. Two of the suspects had guns, police said. Five minutes later that same night, police say the suspects robbed two male juveniles of their cell phones and cash while they walked on the boardwalk near the boat landing facility.

None of the victims were injured, police said.

The suspects have been described as follows:

White male with blond hair, 18 to 25 years old wearing khaki or white basketball shorts and a black shirt with the word 'Element' on the front.

Black male, heavy set with a raspy voice, tall, 18 to 25 years old wearing a black shirt and jeans, armed with a handgun.

Black male, skinny and tall, 18 to 25 years old wearing a black shirt and black trousers, armed with a handgun.

The suspects were last seen running west on South Street.
