HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - Police say a 15-year-old who was shot in the head behind a Hampton 7-Eleven Thursday is in stable condition.
According to Sgt. Jason Price with the Hampton Police Division, officers were dispatched shortly before 8 p.m. close to a 7-Eleven in the 300 block of E. Mercury Boulevard.
Price says the victim was walking down Theodore Street behind the 7-Eleven when he was shot in the head.
The victim was transported to a hospital in critical condition and as of 9:30 p.m. Thursday was in stable condition.
Price says there are no suspects or motive.
