Hampton 7-11 robbed for second time

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - The Hampton Police Division is asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating two people responsible for robbing a 7-Eleven Tuesday morning.

Cpl. Mary Shackelford with the Hampton Police Division said two suspects entered the 7-Eleven located in the 2600 block of Kecoughtan Road around 12:30 a.m. brandishing a handgun and demanding money.

They were able to flee the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

One suspect has been described as a black male standing 5’8” between the ages of 18 and 25. He was wearing all dark clothing and a grey skull cap at the time of the incident. A complete description was not available for the second suspect.

This is not the first time that particular 7-Eleven has been robbed. In early April, two unknown suspects robbed the business and made off with cash.
