VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Virginia Beach Police are investigating a case of counterfeit concert tickets when several Lady Antebellum fans found their tickets weren’t real.

According to Detective Tonya Borman with the Virginia Beach Police Department, the tickets in question were purchased from a person on Craigslist. When the victims went to the Farm Bureau Live to get in, the tickets were discovered to be fakes.

At least two complaints were made to the Farm Bureau Live in reference to the fake tickets, who then forwarded the information to police. It is unknown how many fake tickets were sold.

Borman said the tickets were purchased the same day as the concert, which was on June 10. Their prices are also unknown.

Anyone who was a victim is urged to contact the Virginia Beach Police Department.
