SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - After more than four months, police have learned the cause of death for a man whose body was found in the back of a truck in a Suffolk parking lot.

The body of Steven L. Young was found in a truck parked in the 900 block of North Main Street on June 6. For months his death remained a mystery.

Monday, Debbie George with the City of Suffolk told WAVY.com Young died as a result of cocaine poisoning complicated by a heart condition. George added there was no homicide.

Young's family members said in June Young had a serious heart condition as well as diabetes. The truck he was found in did not belong to him.

Two people were questioned in connection to the incident, but were not arrested.

Police are still working to determined how Young's body ended up in the back of the truck. Anyone with information is asked to call the Suffolk Police Department.
