Dispatchers: Man shot in abdomen

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A man was reportedly shot in the abdomen in Norfolk Wednesday night, according to dispatchers.
Norfolk dispatchers told WAVY.com they received a call just before 7:30 p.m. about a 27-year-old man who had been shot in the abdomen.
Karen Parker-Chesson with the Norfolk Police Department told WAVY.com the victim was in the 800 block of Princess Anne Road when a man approached him and shot him.
He was taken to Norfolk General for treatment and is in stable condition.
