YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) - York-Poquoson deputies are searching for three people wanted to separate crimes involving stolen credit card information.
Lt. Dennis Ivey with the York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office said the first incident occurred on Nov. 18 at the Royal Farms in the 1500 block of George Washington Highway. An unknown black male purchased several cartons of Newport cigarettes using stolen credit card information.
The second incident occurred on Nov. 19 when an unknown woman used stolen credit card information at a Tabb Wal-Mart and then tried to use it a second time when the card was declined. She arrived at the store in a silver vehicle with a male.
The third incident occurred on Nov. 27 at a WaWA in the 5800 block of Route 17 in York County. The unknown female suspect used stolen information to purchase cartons of Newport cigarettes and made two transactions. She used a passport for identification and spoke with a foreign accent. Ivey said she left in a dark minivan. The vicitm's card was also used to purchase cigarettes at the Royal Farms.
