VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - A couple charged in a double homicide at a Virginia Beach Rally's was indicted on several charges Monday, including capital murder, conspiracy and robbery.

According to Harvey Bryant with the Virginia Beach Commonwealth's Attorney's Office, Deandre L. Dunaway, 23, was indicted for capital murder - multiple victims, capital murder - robbery, two counts of first degree murder, armed robbery, three counts of use of firearm and conspiracy.

His co-defendant Cheari Edwards, 20, was indicted on two counts of first degree murder, three counts of use of firearm, armed robbery and conspiracy.

Dunaway is due back in court April 30 and Edwards will be in court April 23.

The couple worked at Rally's on Lynnhaven Parkway with Alphonso White. They were arrested last month in connection to the deaths of White and his younger brother, Michael Johnson. Johnson was waiting for his brother to get off work when the two were killed.

Police said the motive behind the deadly shootings was robbery.
