CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - A Chesapeake bank was robbed Wednesday morning and police are looking for the suspect.
Kelly O’Sullivan with the Chesapeake Police Department said an unknown black male armed with a handgun entered the Bank of America located at 4301 Indian River Rd. and demanded money at 10 a.m. He was able to obtain an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot.
The suspect has been described as standing 5’7” and weighing 185 pounds. He was wearing a black mask, possibly a scarf, a black sweatshirt and dark gray sweatpants at the time of the robbery.
