SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Police say a fight between two brothers turned violent Monday when the men stabbed each other, landing one of them behind bars.
According to Diana Klink with the City of Suffolk, Rodney Eure told police his brother, Lewis Eure, threw two bricks through two of Rodney's car's windows Feb. 8 in the 100 block of Lee Street. Rodney told police Lewis then attacked him with a large log while carrying a knife in his hand.
Klink said Lewis, 27, then stabbed Rodney in one of his hands, and in return, Rodney stabbed Lewis twice in the back.
Rodney was transported to Sentara Obici Hospital and told police Lewis had gotten away with his wallet.
Officers found Lewis on Pine Street in Suffolk and arrested him on charges of malicious wounding, stabbing and potential petit larceny and destruction of property.
