Body found in Chesapeake ID'd

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Chesapeake Police say they have identified the body of a man who was found July 8 along Sondej Avenue.
Kelly O'Sullivan with the Chesapeake Police Department says 47-year-old Julio Delacruz of Brooklyn, NY was identified using finger prints.
O'Sullivan says the cause of death has not been determined, and is asking for anyone with information on Delacruz to call 757-651-3300 or Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
Ravi Sheth with the Chesapeake Police Department said officers responded to the 5000 block of Sondej Avenue around 10 p.m. Sunday night for a call of an injured person. When officers arrived, they found Delacruz lying on the side of the road.
