NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Police say an arrest has been made in connection with a Nov. 21 sexual assault of an ODU student.
According to Old Dominion University Chief of Police Rhonda Harris, a suspect has been taken into custody in connection with an overnight sex assault at an off-campus home in the 1500 block of West 41st Street.
Chris Amos with the Norfolk Police Department said the suspect, identified as Steven Woodlin, was located near the area of the assault around 3:45 a.m. Thursday. Woodlin, 31, was in possession of items taken from the scene of the assault, Amos added.
Woodlin is charged with burglary, rape, oral sodomy, object sexual penetration, robbery and strangulation.
