VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - A 28-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting three different women within a span of a few hours in June has been indicted Monday for a second time in just over a month.
Macie Pridgen with the Virginia Beach Commonwealth's Attorney's Office said Roy Ruiz Loredo was indicted on two counts of rape, five counts of forcible sodomy, two counts of abduction with the intent to defile, robbery, two counts of aggravated sexual battery with force/threat/intimidation, statutory burglary and unlawful wounding during the commission of a felony. The indictments are in connection to three attacks on June 24.
Officers in Virginia Beach received three separate calls for sexual assaults during the early morning hours. Three separate victims reported they had been sexually assaulted by a suspect, one of which managed to call 911 as she was being dragged across a parking lot, officers told WAVY.com.
Loredo was indicted on charges in connection to one of the attacks on Oct. 1.
In addition, Loredo is facing charges in Norfolk for another attack on a woman, who called 10 On Your Side after seeing Loredo's mugshot. The victim told WAVY.com Loredo had attacked her in April, and he was subsequently arrested in that case.
