CARROLTON, Va. (WAVY) - Police say an estimated $10,000 worth of aluminum wheels were stolen from a Carrollton business.
According to Mark Marshall with the Isle of Wight County Sheriff's Office, the wheels were stolen from U.S. 258 Auto Parts in Carrolton between 5 p.m. Aug. 15 and 7:45 a.m. Aug. 16.
Marshall says at least 100 wheels that were locked at the business' gate were stolen and the locks were removed. He says the tires were worth between $100 and $200 each.
Owner Mark Holland says each wheel has a serial number in orange paint, and he has photographs of each wheel.
