Black Friday deals: 5 stores to shop

It's time to gear up for the biggest shopping day of the year, otherwise known as Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving.

If you're looking for the best deals, ads and circulars have already started leaking online, here's where to find some of the biggest discounts.

Walmart

Walmart has announced that it will open its doors from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. for their Black Friday specials . Among the items that customers can expect -- LCD TVs as low as $248 and laptops as low as $198. Toys, digital cameras and tools will also be offered at great prices.

Kmart

Stores will be open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, and special doorbusters are available from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Black Friday. The Black Friday ad for a store in Los Angeles indicates that Magellan Roadmate GPS devices will go for $84.99 on Friday, a savings of $65, and Sony Bravia 32-inch LCD TVs will be sold for $379.99. To check your local area's ads, go to Kmart's Web site .

Best Buy

Best Buy's ad is full of doorbuster deals, from $9.99 Blu-ray movies and $99 Garmin GPS devices to $1,599 Samsung 46-inch LCD TVs. The ad indicates that stores will open at 5 a.m. and that tickets for the doorbuster specials will be passed out two hours before the stores open.

Toys"R"Us

The circular for Toys"R"Us advertises a buy one, get one half off on Nintendo DS and PSP video games. If you buy more than one of an item, you can also save more. For instance 2 GI Joe Combat figurines are two for $6.99 and buy two, get the third free on all Totally Me! craft sets.

Sears

Sears hasn't officially released its Black Friday circular ad yet, but there's a preview on Black-Friday.net . From 4 a.m. to noon on Friday, deals can be had on a Craftsman power drill for $39.99, a KitchenAid mixer for $149.99 and a Samsung 40-inch TV for $599. The circular also includes a $10 off coupon that can be applied toward apparel, accessories, fragrances, footwear and home fashions.
