Crucial game to be shown instead of Redskins

We have heard from many NFL fans and viewers over the past few days about this weekend's games on WVBT-FOX 43. Earlier this week, the NFL changed their schedule and moved the Philadelphia Eagles/Dallas Cowboys game to 4pm on Sunday January 3rd, creating a scheduling conflict with the previously scheduled Washington Redskins/San Diego Chargers game. The NFL made this time period shift because this important game determines the champion of the NFC East Division and has huge implications on the NFL post-season. We have always appreciated our loyal and passionate Redskins fans here in Hampton Roads, however on this particular weekend, we have determined that airing a game of the magnitude of the Eagles/Cowboys will be in the best interest of all NFL viewers. We recognize our decision will not please all fans, yet we hope everyone can appreciate all issues that were considered.
