USS Nicholas deploys

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A last minute change meant goodbyes and tears Sunday morning at Naval Station Norfolk as USS Nicholas deployed.
USS Nicholas is headed to the Fifth Fleet Area of Responsibility in the Horn of Africa. The crew will complete a certification exercise before they go on to help in the mission against piracy.
