NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - The US Navy celebrated its 237th birthday Friday at Naval Station Norfolk.
According to the Navy, the birthday cake was cut by the most senior officer and the youngest enlisted Sailor.
The US Navy was established in 1775 and is the largest in the world.
