TAMPA, Fla. (CNN/WTSP) - She was born while he was overseas in Afghanistan. And this week, a U.S. Marine got to hold his infant daughter for the first time.
"The feeling is just a sigh of relief. No words to express it, I was just so happy," said Fernando Chuva after he held daughter Sophia.
Chuva will spend two weeks in Tampa before returning to Afghanistan, but he expects to be home to his wife and baby daughter before Christmas.
