HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (KCAL/KCBS/CNN) - A California news helicopter had to make an emergency landing after smoke began to pour from its engine.
KTLA-5's chopper was covering a news story when the pilot noticed the smoke and touched down safely in a parking lot.
An oil leak from a crack in the engine was to blame, according to fire officials.
