From Fashion Night Out coverage to local style spotting, check out this roundup of fun and informative fashion blogs from across the country.

Pattern

Pattern is a collective of “style-smart individuals with an inclusive, fashion-focused community,” supporting the quickly-growing fashion and style scene in the Midwest.

Not only does Pattern have a well-maintained and regularly updated blog about all things fashion in Indianapolis, seasonal fashion finds and goings-on in the Midwest style world, it’s quickly creating its place in the world of fashion magazines – with a current online edition and recently moving into the world of print.

This collective not only offers their blog and magazine, but also free monthly meet-ups featuring topics including fashion photography and jewelry making.

With the help of a fashion-forward group of local bloggers, photographers and designers, Pattern is pushing Indy’s Fashion's Night Out on September 6 like never before. They’ve wrangled local retailers, specialty boutiques and designers throughout the city to participate this year.

For a glance at where the fashion industry is heading in the Midwest, and more on Fashion's Night Out Indy, check out Pattern.

Austin Fashion Seen

Grechen writes a quirky yet in-depth blog, Austin Fashion Seen, about fashion and style in Austin, Texas, as she’s discovered it since moving there a little over two years ago.

She has a great sense of personal style, yet keeps things real for real people. Her research and reporting aren’t necessarily focused just on the popular brands, but brings to light local designers and boutiques.

She’s got street cred, too, running her own PR company, Grechen Media, along with several other style and shopping blogs and consulting and aiding small boutiques.

A {Little} Dash of Ash

As a merchandiser planner for Free People, Ashley Rebecca Gale is immersed in style every day. She talks style from her experience in the business in a voice that shows her love for it as well.

She posts regularly on her blog  A {Little} Dash of Ash and features guest posts from other style bloggers to mix it up a bit, effectively covering her recent 10-day vacation without disappointing her faithful audience by filling in with an almost daily post from other notable fashion bloggers.

Along with her own style leanings, she does a splendid job at offering ideas and tips for a wide audience, refreshing for those of us who may be over 35, yet with plenty appeal for those younger readers.
