Portsmouth, VA - If "getting fit" is on your 2010 to-do list, we're here to help you out.
We brought in Amanda Cabrera with Trainers On Call to help us
get started.
Here's a basic workout:
When first starting your fitness program, you want to do 2 sets
of your exercises with 12 reps. If that is easy, then you can step
it up to 3 sets of each exercise with 12 reps.
Do 12 reps of each exercise and 2x through with no rest
-Squat with a shoulder press (with band)
-1 arm tricep Extention (with band)
-Bicep curl (with band)
-Burpee (hands on ground, hop into plank position, hop
forward & stand up) repeat 12x
-Push up (Modified version can be either leaning on the wall
for pushups or on knees
-Bicycle crunch for abs. (Feet flat on ground crunch and
bring opposite elbow to opposite knee & alternate)
There's also a Get Fit Boot Camp Challenge that is underway.
It's every Tues/Thurs 630 p.m. at Anytime Fitness in
Landstown in Virginia Beach.

It's a 3-month total body transformation class.
The class is 1 hour long and $10 per class and you can join
at any time.
You DO NOT have to be a member of the gym to participate.
