Decorating gingerbread houses

NORFOLK, Va/ - Some local culinary students have been working hard in the kitchen to bring smiles to sick children this holiday season.

They have created about 20 works of art.  They are gingerbread houses that have been on display at Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters.  Chef Don Averso, head of the Culinary Arts program at Tidewater Community College has tips and tricks on making our own sweet creations

Eventually, all of these houses will be auctioned off and the proceeds will benefit the hospital.
