Appearance
- Dress appropriately for the position you are interviewing for
- Pay special attention to personal hygiene and your choice of clothing

Preparation
- Practice answering questions with a friend or family member
- Know about the company you're interviewing with and why you want to work for the company
- Bring a copy of your resume, references, letters of recommendation
Confidence
- Use positive body language (maintain eye contact, keep your hands in your lap, and sit up straight)
- Stay on topic and ask for clarification where necessary and when appropriate
- Use specific examples rather than general statements when giving information about education, training, skills and work experience
Interview Skills/Techniques
Eye Contact
- -Focus on the interviewer
- Don't let your eyes wander - this indicates a lack of confidence
Language and Grammar
- Speak clearly and not too fast
- Speak without out using slang
Closing
Express you interest in the position and company.
- Ask questions you prepared to ask the interviewer.
- Ask when you should hear back from the interviewer.
