CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WVBT) - On Fridays we tell you what's happening over the weekend, but there's a lot going on in Hampton Roads during the week.

So, we sent 'Katie the intern' to figure out what we've been missing out on!

Start the week off right with some free Shag Dance lessons at Roger's Pub in Chesapeake.

Tonight, from 7:30pm -9:30pm, Boogie on the Bay Shag Club is teaching you how to get down for your Valentine.

On Tuesday, we're finding out what it will take to save the bay.

Cathy Lewis of "Hear-Say" will be leading a discussion panel to let us know what we need to do to clean up our act. It's part of the "Blue Planet Lecture Series" and it starts at 7pm at Nauticus.

Ladies, grab your man and plan to take Antonio's advice from 'The Broment.'

On Wednesday, we're heading out to Scope to watch the Norfolk Admirals play the Wilkes Barre Scranton Penguins at 7:15pm.

We're talking magic on Thursday!

"The Twelve Magic Star Signs" show at the Plantarium in Chesapeake offers the romance of star gazing with the comfort of the indoors. The show starts at 8pm and its free. Find out how your stars will align this Valentine's day.

And on Friday, we have a treat for all you chocolate lovers out there. Literally.

As part of the Smithfield Monthly Arts Stroll, visitors are invited to tour downtown Smithfield from 5pm to 8pm and taste samples of different chocolate creations, for free. Everyone is welcome, and for one dollar, you can judge the snacks. All the proceeds will be donated to the local "Relay for Life". Talk about a great Valentine's Date Idea!
