Katie has consistently been an honor student and has a strong interest in science,especially meteorology.She takes an active interest in school activities and is a lieutenant in the safety patrol. She was co-'Little Miss Phoebus' for 2008 and participated in thw phoebus days parade.  She has a cheerful personality and a great stage presence.  She would like a career in broadcasting and this would give an excellent opportunity to see how a t.v. show is produced.
